I’m curious to see if they will give as a look at his first years, when he was still living in his car. A real “streetfighter” so to speak, but an athlete as no other.
Excellent production and narration… I want to see more
They are portraying him just like he acts in real life, a normal guy with a passion for boxing. It’s a refreshing approach not to focus on all the glamour surrounding the sport. Too many boxers spend more time showing off, than actually performing.
Unfortunately, so many boxers from abroad are not internationally known. I’m a real boxing enthousiast, but in Europe, we have never heard of Michael Brandon. And even on the internet, there is not much to be found about him. A hidden gem perhaps?
This looks a little like the story of Julian Williams. He was once homeless, but he took it upon himself to train hard and won the international Boxing Federation and World Boxing Association light-middleweight titles. I know Brandon is a different weight category, but what a fight that would be.
Most of the time people only see the side of boxing where you hit or miss, and do not take into account, that boxing is a sport like any other and requires technical analysis, insight, a lot of training and stamina. The whole glamour and glitter surrounding the sport, and all of the personal drama of the top players, cloud the purity of boxing.
Thank you for sharing this, I love boxing documentaries. It’s always nice to see something more than only the glamourous side of the sport.
I would really like to see more of this boxing sensation. A nice documentary, but it makes me really curious to learn even more. I did not know about him before seeing this movie.
It would be nice to see some kind of bio on this page. I don’t know Michael Brandon, but I would like to find out more about him.
On the boxing rec, there are only eight fights of him mentioned, the last one in 2019. Seems like a short career, whatever happened to him? Is he still fighting?
How come a boxer like him doesn’t get more coverage? He did a great job, but it seems like he never really made it to a big audience.
๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ episode!
worth the subscribe.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I subscribed to the series since I’m more into fighters trainings than behind the scene stuffs. BUT, I just finished episode 1. HOLY SMOKES, this shit is a riot…worth every minute!!! Good shit Mike!
When’s your next fight? I’m definitely watching for sure!
you the man bro. Happy to support your authentic journey !
WHO NEEDS THIS WORKKKK?!?! LET’S FUCKIN GOOOO ๐ฅ
No puedo ver los subtitulos en espanol?
” inspirational.
Thank you”
I CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT EPISODE!
Loved the first episode
Just the way Michael is portrayed, he seems so down to earth. A normal guy who loves the sport and wants to prove himself. Nice intro, it makes me really want to see the rest.
I’m really curious to see the rest of this documentary. Such a frivolous character! The duality between the seriousness of boxing and his kind personality is striking.
Where can I see the rest of the series? This was quite a teaser! Makes me wonder what happens next. I really want to find out more about this boxer.
Great footage for now, but I’m really looking forward to the rest of the series. I love boxing documentaries, as long as they are lifelike and not only about all the glamour. Only a few reach the top, but it often comes at great sacrifice.
I wonder what we can expect from the rest of the documentary. Will it contain older footage? Recordings of previous fights? I love biopics, so I’m kinda hoping we will get a glance of his rise to a professional career.
It’s refreshing to see a boxer who is not full of himself, but is still able to come across as a real professional athlete. His passion for this sport is contagious. If only there were more fighters like him. Kind, warm-hearted but serious enough to make it in this competitive world.
I would like to see a background story about how he got into boxing and he reached his goals. So many talented boxers get into the sport, but don’t make it. I’m curious to see why Michael is so different.
I can’t help it, but his career reminds me of a young Floyd Mayweather. I’m really curious to see if Michael is as defensive as Floyd ever was. Can’t wait to see the other parts of this series.
I was checking out the video for the content, but I’m really happy with the quality of this picture. Most free video’s are below par. So cudos to whoever made this. I really love how ‘normal’ this boxer is. Just a man like any other and still a promising fighter.
I’m not really a fan of boxing matches, but I really like these documentaries. In a match it just looks like hit and miss all of the time and often we forget what kind of training and technical insights are needed to become a great boxer. I’ll be watching the other parts as soon as I can.
Amazing first episode! Top notch talent, real, and well spoken. Can’t wait for the next episode and can’t wait to see what this guy has in store for his next fight. Definitely will tune in to both!
Had the honour of training with Michael- no doubt the best athlete I’ve seen in any sport. The fact that he’s so overlooked doesn’t sit right with me either. Do yourself a favor and start following this guys career now before he blows up.
Amazing footage, very well done! Haven’t been a huge boxing fan in the past but now I’m interested. Looking forward to the next episode and seeing Michael fight. Seems like he can blow up at any time, I’ll definitely be following
Very talented boxer and amazing video! I knew him before he became famous! I’m looking forward to seeing his boxing career progress.
Good episode, when is the next one coming out?
Inspiring hard and smart works pays don’t let anyone discourages you as long as your mind can concieve it then you can achieve it.
In the ring the truth will always find you – this right here is the truth. Great episode! It will be a pleasure to watch the rest of them and get to know you more. Good luck!
The pains of hardship will turn you into a better athlete, Michael. Use those pains to your advantage, don’t let them drag you down. It’s not what happens to us in life, it’s what we do with what happens that determines the outcome.
Imho boxing is not a simple sport. It might look and feel simple for some, but not for me. It’s mind and body. Everything must work together and you must always be on the lookout. One wrong move and you could be down for the count.
Boxing is a journey of knowing yourself. Knowing your limits and breaking them. All the time. Day by day. Becoming better than you ever thought possible.
Wishing you a great career, Michael. You’re off to a good start and if you work hard, stay hungry and use obstacles as a way of growth, you’ll soon be a world fighter. Stay hungry!
” Michael you definitely got the goods, good power, a really good coach(Chris Johnson), goood IQ, an most importantly a love for the game. I watched you fight Brian samuels an you controlled him with an educated jab in the first round which led to the knockout. You got some tricks in the bag. As a student of the game an fan of the sport it will be a treat to watch you grow an develop.
